Regulatory Disclosures

Important information regarding the regulatory status, risk disclosures, and policies of TrueNorth Asset Management. Please read these disclosures carefully.

Regulatory Status

TrueNorth Asset Management is registered with and regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe (SECZ). The firm operates within the regulatory framework governing asset management in Zimbabwe and maintains documented compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

TrueNorth is authorised to provide discretionary portfolio management, institutional mandate management, and related investment services to qualifying clients within Zimbabwe's regulated financial markets.

Investment Risk Disclosures

All investments carry risk, including the potential loss of principal. Past performance is not indicative of future results. The value of investments may fluctuate, and clients may not recover the full amount originally invested.

Investment decisions are made within the framework of each client's approved mandate, risk parameters, and investment horizon. TrueNorth does not guarantee investment performance or specific returns.

Clients should carefully review their investment mandate and seek independent professional advice before making investment decisions. TrueNorth's role is to manage assets within agreed parameters, not to provide personalised financial, tax, or legal advice.

Conflict of Interest Policy

TrueNorth maintains a documented conflict of interest policy designed to identify, manage, and where necessary, disclose any actual or potential conflicts that may arise in the course of providing services to clients.

The firm is structured to operate independently of external commercial pressures. Investment decisions are guided by documented processes and approved mandates rather than individual discretion or external influence.

Where a conflict cannot be adequately managed, TrueNorth will disclose the nature of the conflict to affected clients and take appropriate steps to ensure fair treatment.

Privacy and Data Protection

TrueNorth is committed to protecting the confidentiality and security of client information. Personal and financial data collected in the course of providing services is handled in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

Client information is used solely for the purposes of providing investment management services, regulatory compliance, and client communication. Information is not shared with third parties except where required by law or with the client's express consent.

Clients may request access to their personal information held by TrueNorth and may request corrections where necessary.

Complaints Procedure

TrueNorth takes all client concerns seriously and is committed to resolving complaints promptly and fairly. Clients who wish to lodge a complaint should contact the firm in writing at info@truenorthasset.co.zw.

Complaints are acknowledged within five business days of receipt and are investigated by senior management. A formal response is provided within 30 days, or sooner where possible.

If a client is not satisfied with the firm's response, they may escalate the matter to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe (SECZ) as the relevant regulatory authority.
